Give Thanks

Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Psalm 136:1

I am truly, grateful for the afforded opportunity to serve as Chaplain/Family Minister at Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministries.  I never dreamed that this area of ministry would be part of God’s plan for my Christian service.  Since starting this journey in November 2016, it has been nothing less than fulfilling and satisfying. Serving within this capacity of ministry grants an open door to sow seeds of God’s love, grace, and compassion for men and women who are experiencing a disconnect from God.

In addition to chaplaincy services, I teach the 7-Habits on the Inside course for the women, at the jail. It is a great joy to witness the changed character and attitude of these women. My prayer and hope is to continue serving female offenders, and assist in their return to the community after incarceration.

A BIG THANK YOU to all of Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministries’ staff and board of directors for choosing me to serve this population.
