Jail Ministry
The Forsyth County Detention Center, a maximum-security facility, houses approximately 900 men and women who are either convicted of misdemeanors or are awaiting trial. Due to the different needs and lengths of stay of inmates, programs at the jail vary from the prison.

Tuesday through Saturday
Volunteers from churches of various denominations offer Bible Studies, Tuesday through Saturday, giving opportunities for inmates to grow in their knowledge of God.
Jail Volunteers
Volunteers at the Forsyth County Detention Center are assigned through Forsyth Jail & Prison Ministries’ office. Volunteer opportunities are provided for church groups. For more information about volunteering at the jail, email info@fjpm.org.
