Volunteer Training
Important Notice
All volunteers serving at the jail must renew their volunteer status by attending a yearly training session no later than the same month of their last training date. You MUST PRESENT A PHOTOCOPY of your driver’s license or photo ID with your application.
Jail Training Sessions:
Jail training sessions are for currently approved churches.

- Sunday, January 26, 2025, 3pm – Bethany Baptist Church (600 Old Hollow Rd, W-S)
- Sunday, April 27, 2024, 3pm – Location TBD
- Sunday, October 19, 2025, 3pm – Location TBD
Prison Training Sessions:
- Prison trainings are held quarterly each year, but dates are not preset at the beginning of the year. Contact Ms. Moss, DPS Program Supervisor for more details on becoming a volunteer.
